Scottish Hydro doorstep salesman - honestly!

Just had one of these at the door. When I said I wasn't interested in switching, he said they are already suupplying my gas & electric as they run the network and I wouldn't be switching as such, just getting my bill directly from them. I'm with Scottish Power at the moment and I think he is talking rubbish. Doesn't Transco, for example, own the gas supply network?

Salesman came round to me on Tuesday.
Apparently they COULD save me £150 per year based on a typical households usuage. He ummed and ehhed when I said but I'm a SAHM so in all day.
He came back today to get the sale, just ignored the door.0 -

On what I heard from an ex Southern Electric salesman, he certainly gave me the impression that this was normal practise to do that sort of thing and excepted by his seniors.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!
