Off to Turkey at the end of the month,
Can someone who has recently been confirm that it pays to change your currency over there rather than here as the exchange rate is better?
At the moment here you are looking in the region of 2.80 lira to the pound.

Just got back from Olu Deniz myself and I can confirm that you are better changing money over there. Just about every shop bar and restaurant will change money for you so its not a problem at all. You can shop around for slightly better rates so its worth a look.
