I guess the PDF link is dead, does anyone have a link to this? Or is the forum dead, I am out of my fixed term and would like to possibly remortgage but have no idea how.
I have a mortgage which has £36,500 left with 9 years 5 months to go; currently with Santander on Bank of England Base rate tracker so currently paying 1.25% interest on repayment mortgage. We would like to loan between £40 - £45k to extend our home. Additional loan with company is 3.99% so my question is should I remortgage the lot to new provider or what other loan most appropriate to loan money for extension? Have heard of peer to peer lending but I don't know too much about that, do you have to have mortgage with lender to purely lend the additional home improvement sum?
Thanks
