okay bride2be24 here's a few more things (having problems finding that diamante trim) that might be okay for the cake
70mm tinsel mesh wire (in gold and silver) - http://www.macculloch-wallis.co.uk/Product.aspx/Ribbons!9028/70
ivory organza glittered ribbon - http://www.ribbonoasis.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=3689
cake brooch - http://www.rainbowsugarcraft.co.uk/shop/Cake_Brooches.htm
these ribbons are very christmasy but you might find something you could use for round the cake (they have silver and gold velvet ribbon very lush) - http://www.cakecraftshop.co.uk/shop/9/231/272/index.htm
oh oh oh found a crystal trim that might work for you (althought it's silver but it's only £3.99 per meter - https://www.josyrose.com/product.aspx?style_id=329&products_id=10193
josyrose also have non-edible diamante that you could probably attach to your cake with icing - https://www.josyrose.com/family.aspx?style_id=318
josyrose is a fantastic craft site you might find other things there.0 -

The ones in the first link are from Primark (you can just see the tag on the left side) and are probably only about £3.
Why don't you go shopping and see what you can find as most places have their summer sales on too. (I mean shopping in real life, not internet shopping) xTank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
Hi - I'm newish here, and hope it isn't bad form to start with a request.
I'm getting married one month from today (eek!) and the shoes I found cheap on Ebay look really... well... cheap. They won't go to waste as I'm sure I'll wear them on some other occasion, but I really need something else for the wedding.
My dress is a sort of medieval fantasy style - ivory and gold and - here's the difficult bit - needs shoes with 1.5 inch heels (or very close to that) - it will be difficult or impossible to take up or let down because of the way it's made.
I like chunky heels rather than skinny ones. Don't know why.
At this stage, I'm not vastly worried about cost, since I've managed to save money on lots of other aspects of the wedding.
Any suggestions?0 -

These are dyeable, 1.5 heel!

These are stunning and would go lovely with ivory and gold, you can choose heel height!
This sort of thing???
Oh and welcome!:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0 -
i think these will suit your theme and theyr from the high street which might be better so you dont have to worry about them not being delivered in time

these are a bit more detailed but they did embellish some posh shoes in those times and they match your colours
