Have you looked on Asos?
Heres a link to all the full price white and cream dresses...

What about a Maxi dress? What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0 -
I like all of those too Birdie but don't have time to order from China. The length of the second one is perfect though. Thanks for finding those Bubbles but they are all a bit short for me. I'm also after something that isn't tight fitting so I don't have to hold my tummy in all night!
I'm just running out of ideas
Look for FD36 Gigi Young soft beige/pink lace dress £150

Oooo me tooo! I had no problems getting my wedding dress but i really need one to change into and this is driving me insane! I have so far bought 4 dresses off ebay for the evening and resold 3 (still have to relist the 4th) and the H2B is beginning to think I've lost the plot!
Want to spend as little as possible and I want it to be "eveningy" but not all big and heavy like my wedding dress. So far I'm thinking of these

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/halterneck-BRIDESMAID-50S-PROM-DRESS-ivory-size-8-24-/220634467660?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Women_s_Clothing&var=&hash=item7912fc7307 (love it but want the whole outfit and its too expensive!)

and because I'm a weird size I could do with either a lace up back or an elasticated one in a size 14 or 16. Would prefer calf length or ankle length really.
I have seen the Oasis one in real life and it is amazing!0 -

Its really not easy to make out with that pic. Does the one you saw come with the petticoats built in? I'm also just wondering if it would be a bit longer on me because models tend to be so tall and i'm only 5' 4". It does look lovely but would like to see a better picture of it. If anyone can find a link I'd be sooo grateful
Those vintage dresses are absolutely beautiful Franny. Bit out of my price range sadly, would like to keep the cost to under £50 really.
(By the way...do we get pics of you modelling your new hat? That was such a lovely thing for your friends to do, will make it even more special)

Maydot, just to say she has loads more dresses than shown on her site, many at around £65, if you email her with a style and budget she probably has want you want, if you fancy a vintage style?:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0
