  • is this anywhere close?

I Think this is it though http://www.thehouseofnicholas.co.uk/bridesmaids/dress_1131.htm#View_Item

You'll have to forgive me, cos when I saw this I realised it did have spaghetti straps, so I was leading you up the wrong path with strapless! :o

This site dpesn't show the net bit being with it, but I guess they could do that to turn it from bridesmaid to bride dress. It would explain why it was cheaper too !
Well done and thank you SO MUCH :A

I'm hit a stumbling block with my wedding outfit in that I can't find a veil anywhere! I'm after a lace, chapel length single layer veil something like the one below (can't remember for the life of me where I found this picture now - might have been ,my photographers website?!). Does anyone know where I can find one?

Just an idea, but have you asked Linda on here? She made my veil to exactly my requirements and charged a heck of a lot less than I had seen the same anywhere else!

Can anyone help me find an Alfred Angelo style 1148? Size 10 or 12, budget £250 max. My major stumbling block is I'm 5'9", so any I've found on preloved, ebay etc, are all way too short!

This one ends tomorrow and she had the longer length one!

thanks! I'll keep an eye on it, the buy it now is £400 which is out of my budget (I can buy it new for £500!), but she's got no bids on it at the moment so might put in a cheeky bid. And says collect in person, wonder if she'd post it for a bit extra (I live at the opposite end of the country!)

I would email her first to double check if she would post it- as a lot of people cant be bothered with the hassle. You could offer to get a courier to collect it directly from her door- prob cost about £9 to do that- meaning she isnt got the hassle of going to post office etc.
    Good luck with your bidding.

anderson8 -keep an eye on ebay.I liked the Love pinch cake topper but it cost £26- found one on ebay but it went for too high a price. So I have just bought one at full price and will sell it once I have finished with it as it seems cake toppers seem to hold their price.

I tend to find they put wedding dresses on for far too high without checking the general market which is max of £200 unless its a particularly unusual dress. Keep an eye on it and when it gets no bids, email an offer for a BIN, as courier is quite easy to sort you can get Parcel Bee to pick up for aboout £8-£10 or even Royal Mail special delivery with only be £25(as I have posted a wedding dress I know this cost!!), which will be okay if you get it for a good price

I haven't, I'm new on the wedding boards really, who is Linda. She sounds like a best kept insider secret!
