i brought these http://www.bhs.co.uk/mall/productpage.cfm/bhsstore/112064/217608 but they dont seem very comfortable. the front bit seems quiet hard and kinda feel it would dig in n rub n hurt.
i want a wedgey heel- not too big. am size 5. n want an ankle strap thing, and open toed (sorry i am rubbish at describing things!) or maybe flip flop kind of opening at front- with a little heel. does any of that make sense? any one help?

    Hi Frannyann.

Need your help on this one. I'm due to get married abroad in July and so far all the nice dresses are coming in at £1k (including alterations). I'm a size 10, but am small on top hence need for alteration.

I have found my perfect dress- Designed by Benjamin Roberts style number 1082. Cost is £1295 or sample cost is £600. But with alterations (I need it shortened even though Im 5'7) brings cost in at around £1k.
Any ideas where I can find this dream dress, in a size 10 and at a reasonale length?

    help pleassssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeee

£400 for alterations? Could you not buy the sample and take to an independant seamstress for alterations?

Are these shoes - here - too casual for wedding shoes? I have them in brown and they are comfy as hell; I'd be able to get up and down the slippy slope to the chapel, walk through town and still dance all night in them. But just wonder if they're too casual. Suppose I could bling them up a bit with some sequins. Just got to find them in a size 6!
If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.
  • Hi guys - you have been so brilliant at finding things and I was wondering if you could help me. I tried on a dress stupidly out of my budget - Mon Cheri 110218 Which looks like this: http://www.endenbridal.com/mon-cheri-wedding-dresses-c-72/mon-cheri-110218-kalia-p-5527

Could any one find it at anything cheaper than £700? Don't mind if it's second/third/forth etc hand. I love the vintage feel and lace - but I can't afford it! Found it second hand on preloved - but even there it's out of budget.

    Can anyone help? Thanks!

I am after something similar to a pocket watch which can hold a photograph. I want to get H2B something like this so i can put a picture of his grandad in it (who sadly passed away last year and will not be with us on our special day) that way he is with us in spirit and my H2B can carry it around with him in his pocket but where do i look? I dont want to be paying a fortune simply because i have loads of things to pay off yet for the wedding and not sure how much more we can afford. I hope someone understands what i am on about and can help me

    Thanks
