They're both boned and fitted at the top with a soft a line skirt. Milly is embellished lace and is ballet length and Heather is a full length dress with two layers, tulle on top with lots and lots of biggish matte ivory circular sequins all over (makes it look all polkadotty!). I would eventually like to have this one shortened so it is also ballet length. I loved them both as they seemed really modern compared to the 'traditional' gowns that I'm afraid just aren't to my taste (I loved them on all the other brides in the shop but just felt wrong when I tried them on)
It's just so annoying that I seem to have fallen for the only two that just do not exist on the internet! I would be absolutely fine with preloved or ebay etc but I'm starting to worry that they are actually too new!
Cheers!
Have you thought about going Vintage? As thats what it sounds like you are describing!

Thanks so much for taking the time to look but I think I've committed the MSE cardinal sin of falling in love with one specific full price dress in a shop! That said, it wasn't 100% perfect so I may have to find me a dressmaker and see if they can incorporate the bits I liked into one dress.
Thanks again!0 -
Franny this is a fab thread!! you are a miracle worker
Being a self confessed google queen this is a bit awkward to ask :P but before I was a google queen I am a super shopper and my heart wants a pair of shoes that my head won't let me buy. Unfortunatley in the ensuing tussle they were discontinued so now I am panicking.
My dress doesn't cover my tootsies cause initially was going to go with white converse boots to wear under the dress - nice and comfy and wearable after the dayhowever now the dress I have bought shows my tootsies I am not so keen. So am looking back now at the impossible shoes...
These are them:
They are called Dainty Bess and are handmade by Diane Hassall and are £140!!!!
I would like something similar but... can I get your ladies input on if a lacy type of shoe would work? My dress has a layer of net with embroidery on it and not sure what would look appropriate.. would going down the lacy route look OTT?
I am a size 8 - last night was thinking of going down the dorothy route and get some sparkly red shoes as only my toes will showwhat does everyone think ?

I've found (well my mum did lol) a beautiful tiara but its from U.S. they do ship to U.K. but obviously makes it more expensive.
Can anyone find me the same or very similar in the UK?
