Polar Stone - Just dont use them....

Hello All,
Had a really bad experience with Polar Stone over the past couple of weeks. They are a supposed granite worktop specialist based in Chertsey in Surrey. Some months ago
I agreed a price with them for black granite in our new kitchen. They came is about 10% cheaper than the next best quote (mistermarble) I gave them two week notice to come and do their template for the install as soon as my kitchen fit started. They missed the first appointment with a raft of excuses. Nevertheless I rescheduled with them for a few days later by this time we were desperate to get the template done as we had no sinks. Again they missed the appointment only this time not so much as a phone call. I tried calling them but there was no reply. It became quickly apparent that their office number is permanently directed to Phil Prior (owner) mobile phone as they are a one man band. We should have had the template done 5 days ago now and I still havent had so much as a phone call and I have been unable to get in touch with them. They may have gone into liquidation or phil prior may have been hit by a bus. Be warned DONT use them as they are not reliable. They are cheaper for a reason:mad:.
