Ebay technical issue

Not a problem as such, but I'm interested to find out how to sort it.
I buy a low price item with BIN (more than 1 item for sale)
I pay with Paypal
Seller emails me - has the wrong email address on Paypal account, and please can I cancel, and start again.
I check Paypal account, see that payment is unclaimed, so cancel it
Back to Ebay to re-purchase. Item shows as being bought and asks me to pay. If I do this, the sale is still attached to the wrong email address.
How is the sale cancelled, so I can start again?

What is happening to the English Language? These are not isolated, but repeated every day.
'Definate', 'Aswell', 'Rediculous', 'Payed'...and the best of all 'Could Of'. How can anyone think that 'Could Of' can actually mean anything. You may as well write 'Could Zebra' for all the sense it makes.

You could ask him for the correct paypal email address and go to paypal to send you payment like that. Only trouble is it wont show in ebay that you have paid.
As far as I know the seller cant edit the email address once sold.
Another option would be to ask seller to cancel the sale and relist with correct email address.0 -
It shouldnt be your problem really but the sellers I suggest you message him & leave it for him to sort, the onlt other way I can think of is get his correct payment address go onto your Paypal account & send money to that (it is really easy) make sure you tick the eBay item box & type in the eBay item no & details etc.
E Bay seller for 30 years !
(OK sometimes I might exagerate a little)Theres only two rules to remember1) Im always right2) See rule 10 -
This has moved on a little, and I have now paid for and received the item - all is well. However this paypal transaction has raised an interesting point. The seller sent me another invoice, but I had the same problem trying to pay, as the wrong email address was still attached. I attempted to make a manual payment, but when selecting the Ebay option, I was told that I had no Ebay transactions.
But then I noticed it. At the bottom of the page was my old Ebay ID that I stopped using 3 years ago when I changed to my current ID. I have had loads of Ebay transactions since, both buying and selling, but this has never caused a problem. I found somewhere in Paypal's (difficult) navigation where I could add an Ebay ID so I added my new one, and hey presto, I could now so my transaction, and thus paid for it.
Problem now is, I can't find the place in Paypal where I did this, because I now need to delete my 3 year old ID. Any help? What is happening to the English Language? These are not isolated, but repeated every day.

If you click on "profile" (along the top- just under the blue tabs) from the "my account" tab (the main/default one) you should have some lists of options.
It's under the third list, "selling preferences". Click on "auctions" and you should be able to manage them from there. This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

Gone at last! It's amazing how long old information can hang around without one knowing. I'll never get my head round Ebay/Paypal fully. What is happening to the English Language? These are not isolated, but repeated every day.
