can i try reclaim its 10 years?

i took out aloan with yorkshire bank back in 1999 and not long after taking it out passed to a dca,also on my cca request there is my previous loan number and amount can i go as far back as 10 years?.
i have sent yorkshire bank a sar to see what info they hold on me

Hi there

Many have been successful in reclaiming even going back to the 1990's, although it does help to have paperwork to help you through your reclaiming, especially the account number, so if you have this with the reaosns you have then at least give it a go, good luck.:)

many thx yes i have the paper work for the last loan also on this is the loan number for the one befor it. all was sold with ppi,when i took the loans out i was not told what it coverd and that i could use other companys at a cheaper rate and also was not pointed out to me there was over £500 intrest on top of the ppi

just thought I'd let you know i recently claimed for a loan from 1997-2000 - got an offer for the full value today! Go for it:D

Well done Makela2009, i have just sent off my details to claim back for PPI on 3 old loans going back to 2001 with the halifax so this gives me a bit of hope.

you may need to provide proof of payments, ie bank statements or annual statement. it is unlikely the bank will hold records of your loan anymore as they dont have to after 6 years.

Irene i have just had 3 loans all before 2003 with the Halifax putting me back in postion of not having ppi ,i didnt even have account numbers ,just sent a letter saying i believed i had been missold ppi could they check all loans held on file Good Luck Sunny
