    i had a huge carrot in the fridge and just peeled and chopped it into strips, couldn't be bothered to grate it lol

    there was enough for 4 good sized meals with the pasta

  • Claire - if you finely grate the carrot and mix into the mince etc when you make the meatballs, you'll get even more of them. Finely chopped onions, peppers and/or mushrooms also do the job.

    these meatballs were already made just bulked the sauce out with carrots and added some basil

    DH is moaning cause its the same meal as yesterday (we had spag bol) I'm a bit fed up of him criticising now, i'm trying but don't look like thats good enough.
