Morning all - hope you're all good today - not long till the weekend.. in fact it starts today for me as I've got tomorrow off
Parents are coming to visit so will be having some nice meals out and hopefully a couple of walks (although the weather is really soggy and foggy at the moment).

Morning all
Squizz - Hope your parents visit goes well, mine came for a few hours last week but I didn't see much of Dad, he was too busy doing all the odd jobs I needed doing (my Dad isn't able to just "sit" - he likes to be busy, so he brought his tools with him and cracked on:T)
Buns - My face painting skills are very lacking - have a look online for some simple ones to copy.
DH's new chair arrives today (still awaiting the NHS one)..the last one we brought had a bracket that kept snapping, when we complained they said they "never, ever have problems with that make of chair".....well you do now!! After much huffing and puffing they agreed to send a box and a courier to collect it so they could test it.....they called yesterday...yes it was faulty, very sorry - here's your money back.....needless to say we didn't order another one from them. (and it's a pain that we've had to buy another one but we've been housebound for 2 weeks now and it's wearing thin)
Everyday seems like a very steep uphill struggle at the moment.....I'm looking forward to the day we get to the top and can freewheel down the otherside (obviously not going to be freewheeling in the wheel chair - that would be daft....but fun)"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. Keep going Pooky, you are my inspiration and you truly deserve a break and some good news

Blimey Sal...I read that just as the postman came - the refund cheque from the wheelchair, a tax rebate for DH (£107 :j) and a letter from ESA saying DH has been placed in the support group and his money goes up from April by £53 a week!!!!

Great news Pooky!
Sal-I had a horrific dream about DS drowniing the other day and holding him and screaming-it was awful. I woke myself up crying.
When my parents were splitting up, my Mom kept having nightmares about all of us in a tornado and she couldn't hold on to us...she was seeing a psychatrist at the time who said basically your dreams are amanifistation of how you are feeling ie my Mom was feeling out of control of the situation and worried aobut how the family splitting up would affect us.
Sorry, notthe happiest post was it...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
