Hetas Stove Install Recommendation

Hi there,

Thinking about putting a multifuel stove in , was looking for any recommendations of someone to come and install it for me who is HETAS approved and not trying to rip me off?

Have you checked the HETAS site Slinker as to be registerred, they will be 'competent'!

Yeah think i will have to get some quotes from there...just dont know what to expect pricewise, from what ive heard its alot more expensive than i imagined if i have to get the chimney lined :S

If getting a HETAS company to do the job, expect between 2-3 grand, depending on the liner and stove, etc. I installed mine myself. Got a small 3KW wood burner and 10M chimney liner, along with building control notification, cost me around £1100. Worth every penny though.
