Sending euros via bank transfer

My eldest daughter is getting married next month (one down 4 to go ). For a wedding gift she has asked for Euros to spend on their honeymoon. Now normally as she lives so far away i normally just send her money via bank transfer on her birthday (original i know:o) and i wont be seeing her till her wedding day so i wanted to get the money transfer sorted before i see her.
What is the best way to send the money to her and is there going to be any charge from the bank for doing so?

Is your daughter living in the UK and has a bank account run in GBP? Then the account can only take credits in GBP. (Any foreign payments will get converted to GBP.)
Only if the account is run in EUR (either a continental- or a British off-shore account), can it receive payments in that currency.
What about crispy bank notes in an envelope, shoved right into her hands at the reception?0 -
Yes, she is in the UK, i did wonder if this would be the case.Is your daughter living in the UK and has a bank account run in GBP? Then the account can only take credits in GBP. (Any foreign payments will get converted to GBP.)
LOL. She did say i could give her £s instead but as she is going on honeymoon the next day she wouldnt have time to change it so i think i will just send her money via bank transfer now, like i normally do and she can change it herself. What about crispy bank notes in an envelope, shoved right into her hands at the reception? This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
