Last year I got protected NCD, 5yrs @ 23yrs old, fully comp with one count of malicious damaged (cheers to the guys who ran over the roof of my car that was two years ago now...) for £280 with churchills

This year I have a quote of £330

I have a 1.3ltr ford fiesta worth less than market worth!

Grr... is anyone offering cheap deals this year? Everyone else seems to want to charge me £400+ on the comparison sites!

I was going to say that £330 is a cheap price for a 23/m with 1.3 car.

You could of cause do a new quote on the churchill website and see if it is cheaper to cancel and buy as a new customer again rather than renew. Likewise you can check the rest of the RBS stable of insurers which dont list on the agregator sites like Privilege, Direct Line, Tesco etc as whilst they are all owned by the RBS they have their own rating systems

I will be 24 by the renewal date... I've tried tescos and privilege today (and a few others...) but cheapest so far is elephant (by 5p).

Last year I waited to the last minute (mainly through lazyness) and just before I rang up to sort out my quote I got a £30 voucher from churchils to stay with them! I've got my fingers crossed that if I wait until the night before I can do a similar thing this year.
