    Thanks jessie.

The OH specifically mentioned that we had Tues. 6pm tickets and the guy - Paul - said "No, tomorrow".

So I shall be going tomorrow n getting something..!

Haha, you are right! I was in the cinema when you left the message. The movie was postponed for an hour and the theatre was almost full. Anyway very nice movie, have fun with day's show!!

  • The Old Bag - perhaps you should make it clear there are spoilers for the movie Little Miss Sunshine in your post? Its a good synopsis, you have all the action that happens, but this would be a bad thing if somebody hasn't seen it..... :)

K9cuddles- I was at the Brighton screening too.. wasn't the cinema dark?? Great film! thank you mse!

He he! My and my boyfriend went to the Brighton screening too - we came to the conclusion that as it was a freebie they were trying to save money on their electricity bill! I also took down the voucher I had for 'Talladega Nights' from Heat magazine, to exchange for free tickets for next weeks showing but the cashier kidly told me to 'come back tommorrow' as they hadn't put then out on the front desk yet!! Cheeky...I don't pop to the other side of Brighton on a daily basis! Tsk!
    Everyone LOVES a freebie!!

Sorry, sorry and sorry....you are so right.
A thousand pardons......I just assumed that given all the comments from posters about their delays/resceduling and how good they thought the film, that Last night was the last free showing night - since it officially opens on Friday I think.
But you are quite right. I shouldn't have made assumptions :o

Apologies to anyone/everyone. I will go back and try to edit it out.
    SORRY
  • Contacted City Screen in York (Picturehouse cinema) and they confirmed that the 'Little Miss Sunshine' screening starts at 7pm tonight. (Don't blame me if it goes wrong!) Hope this puts some people's minds at rest.

Dammit, I knew something would go wrong! For some reason, the York screening was put back to 6.30pm. Apologies if anyone was late through acting on my info. I'd got it from the City Screen management so I'd assumed it would be reliable. I shall be emailing them later...
  • How did you get the tickets for Little Miss Sunshine?

See post #267 (AngelUndercover, where have you gone?!). I suspect most of the 'Little Miss Sunshine' preview screenings have been and gone already but there's info on other films in that post too. Otherwise, just keep an eye on this thread for up-to-date screenings. Hope this helps. Good luck!
