Went to Borat last night, cinema was pretty full and looked like mainly couples. Have to say I found it pretty funny, as did most of the audience judging by the amount of laughing going on. The humour is much as you expect from Sacha Baren Cohen (apologies if I've spelt this incorrectly, but I don't suppose he's going to be reading this!).
And this was only the second free showing where I've had my phone confiscated at the door by "The Management"! They were also (I'm fairly sure) spying on the audience from the doorway during the film through what looked like some sort of telescope!0 -
also went to free screening of Borat last night. I nearly wet myself!!!! It is very funny so try to grab your free tickets.0

I don't think they can do that. Who's going be able to record an entire movie of thier mobile? Burks!
And spying on you with a telescope...!? How uncomfortable to be scrutinised whislt trying to watch a movie.
How paranoid are they..!?!! That window's cracked on both sides!!0 -

We had a choice of watching BORAT or THE LAST KISS in Portsmouth last night (2 different cinemas and gave my bro the Borat tickets). We chose The Last Kiss, big mistake, predictable and boring. Left 15 mins from end in despair. Should have gone to BORAT.:(
Are there any more free BORAT tickets, all the links in this thread seem to no longer work ?0 -

There are screenings next Tuesday at 6:30pm and if you do the above you'll see a list of locations
This link may take you directly to the listings page where you simply click on the cinema you want and go from there.
Enjoy it those of you who missed today or didn't have one in your area

There has been about a dozen screenings in Nottingham in the last 3 months at either Showcase or Cineworld.
Yes, but it's a bit tedious to go through 79 pages to find a ticket for notts or lincoln AND something suitable for children.... I don't think BORAT is suitable viewing for a six yr old.
Which is why I suggested a one thread with PURELY cinema ticket codes and links and a seperate one for chat about it...£2 Savers club started 30/09/06.... £I raided it
