Yes the previews are the full movies. The advantage is tho, they don't show any adverts or trailers, so you just get the movie.

NOT TRUE when the screening is at a SHOWCASE cinema !!!!!!!!!!!

I've seen half a dozen over the last year at the Showcase and every one has had a 20 minute intro (at least) of adverts and "coming shortly" previews.

The worst one was a FULL 35 MINUTES from "lights out" at the stated time on the ticket to when the priview film actually started.

That's horrendous. I go to the Odeon and they literally just show the movie. When the lights go down you get the film certificate flash up on screen, then they start the movie. That's why I prefer seeing previews these days, I can't stand those adverts, they just waste so much time!

Glad my local cinema isn't Showcase!!

Anyone have any idea of a way I can get my seat for the barbie film I sent off for! I deleted the text message(by mistake) for the Manchester showing and my little girl is adamant she is going. Dont know what to do. Any numbers I could ring etc as surely they have a list of mobile numbers they use.

We went to see the Barbie movie in Plymouth yesterday, and it was just like someone had stuck the dvd on, had all the dvd trailers, then it got to the dvd menu, and someone out back had to press 'play movie'!!!! Didnt mind tho, as it was free!!!!

Unlike SFF where they send an email of the ticket immediatly. Borat-Movie sends out a reminder which contains the printable ticket.
i get it the other way round.
never had a reminder from borat but usually get it from seefilmfirst

Yes I know the Odeon screenings start immediately with the film itself.

My nearest multiplex (just about 1 mile away) is an Odeon (ex UCI) and most of the free previews I've seen take place there.

But we also have a Showcase (4 miles) and I've been to a few here and I think they have always shown adverts & forthcoming attractions.
I did go to the Nottingham Showcase for a couple of screenings that were not on offer in Derby, and it was exactly the same there.
