I was enquiring about The History Boys (which I'd really like to see but haven't got tickets yet) and the cashier produced what looked like a cash box from under the counter and said sorry no tickets for History Boys but we have these. Not sure what the film is about but it's got Kevin Cosner in, so it should be good. Would you like some? I said yes please, may I have 2? Voila 2 free tickets. She did say not to tell the manager though. Which of course I didn't.
Ask at the Box Office. I did and they gave me 2 free. No tokens, no vouchers, nothing. Just ask if they have any free preview tickets for The Guardian Monday the 16th of October.
I've seen a few films there (free) recently courtesy of this site, Twin Towers, Devil Wears Prada, Taladga Nights, each time the cinema wasn't even half full.
Just ask nicely. Don't ask the Manager! I think these tickets are meant to be given away with special offers, magazines, newspapers, etc but obviously nobody in our area knows they are there (or doesn't want them).
Good luck.0 -

I've never seen these tickets advertised for the Metro Centre but they do have them. They are under the counter in a locked petty cash box. I got 2 on Friday night.0 -
Has everything gone very quiet re Free screenings, or is it just MY cinema where they have dried up.
I got quite a few during the summer - but I have nothing left to go see.....
The last 2 I went to were so empty it was embarrassing. I think by the end the audience was on first name terms
It is VERY annoying when the sites constantly say the screening is full, but in ALL the ones I have been to this year, only one was even approaching being full.0 -
