its just a spin off of the American version which was called for better or worse . where the brides and grooms family had to do it for 5000 dollars and in a week . at least with that program you got to see it all in one episode . when i don't get to see the finish wedding till after the eight weeks i get bored of it.
i would say its nothing like for better or for worse i really enjoy that but this is nothing like it apart from a budget0 -

no its not exactly the same but the idea behind it is the same where the bride and groom have no say in the wedding.
in both the family and friends do it with the help of a planner , both on a budget.
for those that don't have sky it can be watched here http://www.weddingtv.com/tv-shows/ search for it down the left hand side0 -

OMG I really am missing out on so much!!! GRRR to Freeview ha ha
Unfortunately you aren't missing much, the same programs are on over and over - try the channels website as they have a iplayer type thingy.
the best programs are bridezillas - which you can see on one of the itv channells and for better or for worse - as some of the themes and budgeting/ crafting is good for MSErs the rest of it is tat and mainly tells you what you should have or some v expensive venuesHad a thrifty wedding 17-06-10
