Three grand weddings

There is a series on the wedding tv channel on sky called 'three grand weddings' where couples plan a wedding with a three thousand pound budget.
here is the link http://www.weddingtv.com/search/
I am sure it could be quite useful but in the series they manage to get a lot of stuff for free, and I'm quite sure this is because it is a tv programme and the firms etc offering free stuff are doing it for the publicity but in any case, there are some good ideas. The show isnt very 'polished' but has some interesting ideas.

i have been recording this since the start i think there is 8 episodes and to be honest i find it rather boring and i hate the way the presenter and her judging partner are very snobby without trying to be always scoring one team higher than the rest.
but intresting when im not falling asleep. hehe0 -

We could probably all get our weddings for under £3k if we blagged, begged & borrowed, but some of us do not have the time, inclination or skills to do this.0 -
My wedding is coming in at only £750 above 3K anyway, I've just been MSE about it:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0

I normally love all the wedding programmes, but this one is quite boring and I don't think I've watched a full one yet!Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0

ive watched some of them but keep forgetting when they are on.you lose interest in it easily
its just a spin off of the American version which was called for better or worse . where the brides and grooms family had to do it for 5000 dollars and in a week . at least with that program you got to see it all in one episode . when i don't get to see the finish wedding till after the eight weeks i get bored of it.0 -
Hi girlies,
I've just found a bargain online, its a credit crunch wedding cake:
3 tiers with simple design for only £195!!!! My friend ordered from them and it was a gorgeous cake - she bought one of thos willows carvings from argos and sat it on top, looked alot more expensive!!
let me know what you think!
Also - the offer a chocolate fountain for 100 people plus a 3 tier cake for £495 - think I'm going to do that.
