N-Power what tariff to choose!!
Options
I move house 6 months ago and kept the previous owner gas/electricity provider which is N-Power. From August to mid Feb, I was paying £50 by dd. Today I received my bill and the gas is £364 and electricity is £79. It is a 2 beds terraced house but it does have 10 radiators. My dd has been increased to £86 a month. Does this seem ok? Also with N-Power I do not like the idea of having a bill every six months and think of switching. In my previous 2 beds flat with EDF, I was payinig £50 a month and I got a rebate as well. I do not know whether switching in room I am not using will help like second bedroom, study and kitchen. Can anybody recommend any cheaper tariffs on N-Power, currently I am on dual standard. Thanks

Have you checked all suppliers on a comparison site?
you do realize that npower sculpt their gas prices so that you pay for more high prce units in winter?

Your gas bill may be quite normal, depending on how you use your heating, but your electric seems low for 6 months use.
It also looks as if you are on the standard tariff which is the most expensive, so you could certainly save by moving to one of the online tariffs, and this way you could keep the annual £100 discount as mentioned above.0 -

Most tariffs that do not contain the words npower and standard will probably be better than your present one.:D0
