You will see that reps don't get their email address in their profiles.

You know yours wasn't when you originally told us all it was!

The profile of all company reps says "xxxxxxx company representative has no contact information".

You have cynically stuck it in the "occupation" field when you were made to look foolish when directing us to your profile to get your details when there actually were none!

I'm not trying to be cynical, or get around the rules, I'm just here to try and help where I can. Thats why I'm here.

Even this explanation seems a little cynical.

Elsewhere on the net you describe your damage limitation role somewhat differently:
I search out the conversations and then get involved to bring them back internally

Why pick an argument when the rep from Aviva is trying to resolve a problem for the OP.

If you believe that the rep for Aviva is not complying with the forum rules, then you can take this up with MSE. Why don't you do this rather than extend the thread with just an argument, which you appear to like having ?
The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.
  • I'm not really sure what you want me to say.

I'm just going to get on with doing what I'm here to do, I don't want to derail elmccw's thread any more, I've said what I came to say and will continue to help where I can.

    Thanks for your feedback Quentin.

How do you access Aviva's profile? Their username is not clickable.

Thanks, but how did you find it? I can't find it even using the Search facility.

Oops. When I hovered over it, it didn't seem to change so I thought it wasn't clickable. Would have been more sensible to have tried it. :o
  • AVIVA - returned my car to me after a car accident - supposedly servicable - the breaks then failed at a roundabout nearly causing me to have another accident - they are saying that the breaks dont necessarily have to be checked after an accident! (i would have thought they would have been the first thing to be checked - after any accident).
    .

i suggest they have this for their next advertising campaign.
    .

    - AVIVA - when we RETURN you a SERVICABLE CAR - it doesnt mean the BRAKES will be working!
    .

funny thing is they were my insurers so shouldnt they be acting on my behalf? the other side have admitted full liability.
