Nationwide - any good?

I rarely have problems with Nationwide, but recently I did. I am pleased to report that they do respond promptly and will admit if and when they have made a mistake

We constantly strive to meet, and then exceed our member's expectations with regard to service and products. I deeply regret that on this occasion we have fallen short of that target.
Please rest assured that we will do our utmost to ensure that this is not a typical example of how we treat our members.

I am not perfect and I don't expect my bank to be either. I do expect them to try their best and in this Nationwide are different than most banks who never admit they make mistakes.
