Anyone got any recommendations?

Borrowing a friends car. Approx how much will it cost for 4 days insurance?

    Easiest way will be to get yourself added to his policy for a week. Will be quite expensive probably about £50 maybe more.

    Depends on so much- car, your history (Driving), age etc.

    You can however get either added to existing policy or get temporary cover for a short period for yourself to drive the car. A quick google of temp cover will sort you out but not used any companies so can't recommend.

    My boss has used temporary insurance - as I recall if he needed it for longer than a week or so it worked out cheaper to just buy a year's worth, so it was quite expensive...

    I got a quote off aviva. £40 for three days with £500 excess !!!!!
