Plumbing Fitting, 89mm (waste disposal) to standard waste (40mm)

I removed a broken waste disposal unit and I now want to convert it to an ordinary waste. The hole in the small sink is 89mm (standard for a waste disposal unit). I don't want to fit another waste disposal unit nor do I want to have to replace the whole sink unit.

So I want a fitting for a 89mm hole in the sink going into a 40mm standard waste pipe.

Does such a conversion fitting exist and where do I get one.

You need a basket strainer waste.

These generally fit in a 3 1/2 inch hole...
Which in new money is 89mm.


Should you need to join the sink overflow into the fitting you can get them with or without overflow,

Then you can connect a normal 1 1/2" Bottle trap or P trap and connect onto your waste pipe.

Maybe try B & Q if thats easiest for you

i bought two x kitchen sink waste fittings last week for a fiver.
complete with overflows and plugs.
