Just checked in on sophie's page, very sad news today but i hope she's at peace now and free from pain. my heart goes out to Madison too now.

Just checked on the site and realised she was born on the same day as my little girl. Bought tears to my eyes thinking of such a young life ended so prematurely. Could not bear to imagine being in that situation.

How sad, how tragic, saw the news earlier this evening, what a pretty little girl she was.

Hope the family have the strength to bear this and little Sophie's legacy will help other babies beat this.

I'm from Chester-le-Street, the same town as Sophie and have been following her progress for months. To say I am gutted is an understatement RIP Sophie and my heart goes out to her parents and sister.

Hello, sorry for not updating, as others have sad sadly Sophie has passed away. The day before she passed away she opened her eyes and said "mammy" for the last time. The post really made Sophie and Jessica smile so thank you very much to everyone who sent some smiles to them.

Post Pals currently has another little girl in a very similiar position, Madi (www.postpals.co.uk/pals/madison+p) who is 4 and Holly has just joined, Holly who is 12 has the same type of cancer as Sophie (which is rare in children of Holly's age), her address is on her page http://www.postpals.co.uk/pals/holly+c
