Today's bonuses (I think I'd like one every day - they are turning out to be VERY helpful!) -

Forgot that Council tax isn't paid in Feb and March :)
Water wasn't paid from HSBC so I'm in surplus for this month!

Edited to add 3rd bonus of the day - was comtemplating selling some rubbish old gold but was being lazy and doing nothing with it (a very light 9ct ring, so not worth much) when some gold dealers came to the door and offered me a fiver for it LOL. Yes, I could have got more going elsewhere but then I would have had to post it and no, I just could not be bothered. That's £5 extra in the pot then!

Today's update - not quite so good!

Hubby rang his mum and found out that they are all in fact going away on 10th May so I have less than 10 weeks to pay them their £500 back! I had already accounted for paying them £100 a month back at the end of each month, so now I have cut down various things like our entertainment budget, and the payment to the halifax OD, and the gifts budget to get their payment up to £150 (I've got £50 cashback already available I can throw at it), so will make 3 payments on the 5th of each month (from this month) to make up the £500. Don't really want to do this, and it'll be hard, but a) we have to (they are struggling to find spending money) and b) any cashback/extras I get I can add to the fund and cut down the monthly payments.

After the beginning of May (when I go back to work) I'll increase the budget amounts again so we'll be back to normal.

Oh this debt malarky is very annoying LOL!!

I've started PAD now (well, last night to be precise!) and I'm putting all that towards SIL's debt, plus the cashback/ebay earnings too - that way I can really make a dent in it (I hope!) without having to pay *too* much each month.

Reading your post has made me realise how unorganised i am so im off to pull myself together and get my thinking cap on.

    Hi SillyRabbit

I am subscribed to your thread and am tagging along your journey!:T

I have been doing the survey sites and have ebayed a bit but I am not confident enough to do the bingo sites that everyone talks about as I have an addictive personaility so scared I might get myself in even more trouble lol :rotfl::rotfl:

    Good luck on your journey!

Hey Suz - thanks! The only bingo I do is the free bingo on the takeabreak site - you just do the free scratchcard every day and build up a little stash of cash in your "bonus" account, then bet with it on the proper bingo when it gets about £10. Any winnings can be withdrawn I think!

Thanks Karen! Good to know I'm keeping people company LOL

If you think you'd be drawn in to actually betting real money on the bingo sites I'd suggest leaving well alone! My main extra income so far has been cashback really, but that will run out soon. I'm doing the survey sites too - have you tried dooyoo? You get 50p per review as long as they are over 150 words long, so I thought that was pretty good!

Hiya - I think I probably signed up for Onepoll at one point but don't remember getting anything from them! I'm the same with VU - they credit you with something like 5p when you don't qualify, right?!

Oh, and here's today's update - hubby's bike is not very well and could cost us £150 tomorrow so will need to do yet another money shuffle...

Have made a PAD today of £3.38 to my SIL, and will be putting some change in the sealed pot later!
