I have a Mercedes 180K and would like to know if a fault with the 'mixture adaptor pipe' is a common fault. My car have only done 40,000 and was first registered in 2004. Can this fault be put down to 'fair wear and tear'. Where can I go for help if Mercedes refuse to see this fault as a manufacturing fault as I think it is.
There seems to be an Ombudsman for almost everything but not for vehicles. Or is there ??

this looks like folk watching the toyota saga and thinking they can blame any fault thier car has on a manufacturing defect outside of the warranty period and expecting it repaired free of charge.
you bought a merc so you will pay merc prices,or alternatively find a good merc specialist....work permit granted!0 -
