Do you mean left owing to Lloyds? £3,245.79! I can't wait to see this go under £3k, need to try and do this at the end of June.

Yeah I meant left owing. Wow that's great. I'm hoping with PADing that I can get my Lloyds down to under 9k within the next few months (currently it's 9.5k) :(

I know it seems like a massive mountain to climb, but mine was £10,200 back in Aug 09 and hasn't always been top of my hit list (I cleared 3 other debts before starting on this one). I kept putting this one off as it was so daunting, I can't wait to see the back of it.

That's an amazing amount paid off in less than two years.

I did move about £1k to my Barclay card, but I am unable to get any other offers :(

To be honest though by the time I pay the fee to move the balance, if I plan to clear it by the end of the year I will probably only save around £300 in interest, so its not really worth keep applying for cards and being rejected!

Definitely. Plus you'll probably have it paid off in no time :).
I can't imagine I'll get things paid off as fast. I think I'm starting to make a dent with the PADing - £10 should go in later.

    you're doing really well Woo.
You're right about applying for credit and getting rejected not being worth it, as it affects your credit rating so much, but at least with the last one you'll have saved £300.
Watching your current debt with a smile waiting to set off the party poppers for when you get a penny below £10800, that will be fab.

I wish I wasn't so skint LT and could just send the £38.63 now, I want to see those party poppers!

My friend owes me £140, I might have to ask for some of this money soon as I'm already having to choose between food and petrol again!

    Hi Woowoo,

Just popped on to say I have been reading your diary and am subscribing to it too, you're doing really well.

Also, can sympathise about the food/petrol debate - we were doing that last week until OH was paid. Petrol won btw as I managed to find reserves in the freezer :)

    Jules
