Oh 4 days with the outlaws, I feel your pain!

And having to get the house spotless only makes it worse!

Will that be it or will you see them over Xmas as well?

we have to spend christmas day and boxing day with them as well! i deserve to go to Heaven with all this hard work i'm going to have to do! I'm silently insisting that we only spend the two days so that i can spend time with my parents. I guess i'm lucky that this will be only the second time i've not spend christmas day with my folks and the last time i spent it with my sister.
I so wish that i drank it would certainly help dull the pain of the visits.

My OH's mum is lovely, but she's losing it a bit and takes FOREVER to finish her sentences, so hard not to butt in and finish for her!

Luckily I don't get made to visit, as both sets of patents only live 5 minutes away so we just pop in whenever.

unfortunately i'm still working out a 'relationship' with my MIL. I think it all comes down to cultural differences, though for someone who's suposed to reveer her family and be the matriarch she never has a good word to say about anyone in her family. Hey ho i'm going to try my best to build bridges and make a good thing out of a bad situation.

4 years next feb. She stopped making even the small effort she had been making when we got married (2 years ago). Now i sit like a muppet most of the time while she carries out her side of all conversations in Italian which she knows i don't understand.
OK enough talk about that woman. I'm spending enough time with her next week i don't have to talk about her today.

Today I have to buy new work shoes :(

My ballet pumps have split across both soles, I tried to glue them last night and stupidly left them to dry on newspaper, now I have newspaper for soles!

I really don't have the money it will have to come out of the Tesco shop budget!
