Key in Wii!!!!

My 3 year old has just decided that it was a good idea to put the back door key into the Wii disk slot!! First off all I could hear the key rattle and after some poking with a steel rule!!! (i know I shouldn't have done!!) the key must be totally jammed as it's no longer rattling and disc's won't load! I know i've perhaps done more damage than good but what can I do?! Or is it best to just chuck it away and buy a new one! Expensive afternoon in doing nothing! :mad:

Some of the screws are triwing (like posidrive/phillips but only 3 slots instead of 4) - I doubt you'll already have one or that local shops will stock them. Easiest source is probably eBay.

Thanks for your help! May as well give it a go before buying a new one! Oh and wouldn't mind my key back anyway!!

You could always send it to Nintendo, my kids broke the hinge on their DS, sent it to Nintendo came back a few days later all fixed!!
