Nationwide aren't the quickest at sending anything out in the post. It takes 10-15 days for monthly statements to reach us. Took about 10 days for me to receive my card after I was accepted.

I sent them a secure message today as I want to transfer a joint account. I applied last Thursday and still haven't received anything. Their reply is I will receive the paperowrk over the next 5 days.

I think they must have been inundated again as when I applied for my own account with them last year the paperwork came in 2 days.

10-15 days is a long time for statements, mine always arrive within 3 - 4 days.

I got declined after waiting a week. Which is odd because I have accounts with unused overdrafts at HSBC, First Direct, A&L and Halifax. I didn't even ask for an overdraft???

I they being picky at the moment due to the amount of applications??
