I got an email from egg this morning offering me a one month payment holiday:
If you could do with a little rest from making your
Egg Card repayments, we're offering you the chance
to skip your next Egg Card payment.
Not a bean...
We won't charge you a fee for missing the payment,
but you'll still pay interest at your usual rate,
where appropriate, as if a payment was due during
your payment holiday. Any interest charged will be
added to your balance. Please take a look below
for conditions.
You've got five days to do it
This offer's only open for the next five days so,
if you do fancy a rest to give yourself some
breathing space,don't hang about.
This is aparantly "selected customers only"
Anyone else seen this?
I'm started my annual 0% offer in June, so I'm not paying any interest at the moment.

Probably genuine. The company I work for offer payment holidays too (ie: don't pay for amonth) but you still get charged interest. If you're on interest free, I'd assume you wouldn't get charged anything.0

Egg do offer payment breaks on their loans (up to 3 months in a 12 month period) so seems a logical extension of this. However, unless you're on a 0% offer, or have a higher interest CC debt to pay (higher than 15.9%) I wouldn't have thought it was worth the effort.Never attach your ego to your position....0
