Paid £100 for activity voucher & got no service

Hi, I am in need of some good advice, I bought an activity voucher for £100 from argos, the voucher was valid for 12 months and being busy due to moving house the voucher expired.
I recently emailed and called the activity voucher company who have stated that I can no longer use the voucher or renew it, so therefore I have given the company in excess of £100 and got nothing back from them.
I would really appreciate any advice on where I can take this as I am not content to accept that I should just cut my losses here.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and look forward to your answers.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you'll just have to let it go - the vouchers expired, and the company are under no legal obligation to refund.
You could try appealing to their better nature and they might extend the deadline as a gesture of goodwill, but don't get your hopes up.....0 -
i always thought the same and with most vouchers there non refundable any wya
write to head office explaining the situation and see what they sayReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0 -
The company have offered a service based on terms that you have subsequently agreed to.
If, for whatever reason, you don't take up their offer in line with those terms, they have no legal obligation to issue a refund.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

No need to read any further. How do they manage to reproduce?0 -

Whenever ive moved it was done in a day.0 -
these vouchers clearly state that when they expire they will not be renewed. I brought my OH and some clearly have longer periods on them. I brought it in Sept 08 for his birthday he didnt; get round to using it till Oct 09 ( think it expired end of 09) But I brought him another for xmas 09 which again clearly states it has a shorter life and will expire June 2010.
I think that because it does so clearly state ( not hidden in small print) the expiry dates and fact once passed they are non refundable, you've lost out on this one. Sorry0
