RBS PPI Claimback success of a sort...

Took a loan out with NatWest, I was sold PPI as part of the loan, young go getter type in the bank told me that it was obligatory to have PPI with them if I wanted the loan. Well as we all know with hindsight, he was wrong. I have claimed back the PPI from RBS who did the loan and onsurance, its around the £1100 mark. They had 28 days to pay me on the 27th of January. Well its the 28th day today and nothing has appeared in my account, so as you do I gave them a bell. The person in charge of my case now states that they won't be paying me until late next week or even later. I explained that if I failed to pay the bank on time they would charge me for that, so how come I couldn't charge them for not paying me in the alloted time? My answer was we are sorry but thats procedures. To say I'm not happy with them is an understatement! Why is it one rule for them and one rule for us?
Have to say a big thanks to this site though for the template letters that enabled me to claim this cash back. Your the man Martin :money:

Thanks for the heads up about that. I shall go into my branch of NatWest today and see the very helpful Customer Relations person in there and tell her thats what I want.0

Just to say that I was paid out into my current account on the 26th, I guess me asking to be put to the front of the queue because I was suicidal that bills were piling up worked. £1171 paid back. Happy days :T0
