For those of you who have not got your spendy elves under lock and key kicking and screaming to be let out.. before I had them under curfew, I was looking at a rather nice site http://www.fidgeonscrafts.co.uk there are some loverly papers on there... and quite reasonable too.. there is a 20% off voucher in my mag too but it is only to be used in the shop only... it's in Hitchin, any use to anyone?

Ooh yes please Hassy - Hitchin is just down the road from us!

Craftygranny - glad carly is getting better, hope the tweaking works.

    morning
Hassy I'm planning on one spend per month - that will probably be a monthly kit worth a tenner. Might do 2 spends at the end of July as I'm going to a craft shop in Penrith in the last weekend of July and I know the owner so would like to do a little spend. I've just bought green and brown distressed stickles - saw someone use a green coloured one to add to a moss effect and it looked amazing. I've also used the clear ones that came in a qvc tim holtz kit - they produce a nice different glitter effect.

Could someone pm me a blog list for people here please? thanks in advance.

Giggle & OAP - My blog was with scrappingblogs which I believe has had hosting problems, OH will have a look at it over the weekend for me, as he will have to redesign my signature etc!

Hassy - Think I must have missed your post? you said you had an accident? you ok?

KMS26 - the main magazine I buy is the docrafts one as it is a reasonable price, some of these that are £4, £5, & £8 I think are a rip off!

Rainmac - Thanks, did you get to use the coated card last night? Is it any good? will have to have a look for it, although OH came home with a big box full from aberdeen so the card in there should be great!

WBR - When is your hospital appt? hope it all goes well

Loubylou - Fab bargains :j did you get your form sorted?

Rainmac - I did see that on the blog, but least you have managed to keep a DT place! Well done you! x

Pootleflump - Welcome to the mad house :j

Elsia - Welcome to the mad house :j

Flourgirl - Congrats on going back to the cake shop! some more stash is definately needed ;)

Craftygranny - Which nostalgia stamps did you buy? Fab news about Carly! :j

Craftyjuju - Well done to your DS :)

Right that is me a bit more upto date and actually not ignoring posts! lol ... I have spent an hour at DS's school, they had an italian day with activities so DD and I went to play! :j had a fab time made muscial instruments with them both and then we made some clay tiles with their initial on! hopefully they will come out of school safely tonight!
Need to make some more cards and need to blog the other seed holder I made yesterday, however not happy with it! Hopefully get a chance to craft when DD goes into nursery this afternoon :)

Hassy - the glitter flakes are chunkier I think in the distress stickles than in the normal ones - I've only got one tube of the distress ones - I'll have a look. QVC should have lots of videos to watch of stickles in action - they sell quite a few sets of them. I admire your dedication at reading through all those pages!!!!

CraftyJuJu - your necklace is gorgeous - it looks fabulous on!!!!

    Morning,

I'm taking 5 before I go to work, I have managed to get most of the house tidy so I don't feel to bad about sitting down ( but the large packet of crisps and dips are another matter) its been a busy few days again and I am now so looking forward to the summer break, I did have a bit of retail therapy on Monday ( ops and Saturday) and have got the papermania watercolour markers, the bubbles stamps and matching paper, marianne snowflake dies and an xcut embossing leaf punch, and I got a real bargain at the car boot on Sunday a large box of card and jewellery stuff for £2.00 so I have officially spent out,

I have a tip from Sarah if you use a little bit of smooch and put it in an small pump action bottle, add water and then give it a good shake you get the same sort of effect as glimmer mist,

Hassy Sarah's craft room is lovely, very sunny and light, I was up having a coffee with her last night and we had a good old gossip.

lovely makes everyone, and well done to our winners design team members and anything else I have missed, and huge hugs to anyone that needs them

    take care Jo x
