Making cards - Ideas for beginners (part 4)

I saw Payper box on create and craft this week I think, or maybe last and their stuff looks really good.. I had my eye on the cd's they had with templates on for makingenvelopes and swing cards ... they looked useful.. the swing cards cd had digi drawings on them too from what I could see...

Rats!! I had just been telling myself that I should do as Padster did and see how long I could go without buying stash after my purchases at cards 4 u....

I am going to be strong and start..... NOW!!!
Before I start properly, can I ask would magazines count in everyones opinion??? :think:

Definately not!!! Magazines are in no way shape or form stash, even if they do happen to have some nice freebies:D

I have decide it is no good, I have tried to catch up on the thread by dipping in here and there, but have bitten the bullet and started from where I left off weeks ago and have only caught up to page 417!!! How crazy is that???

I'm only willing to try an hour at a time cos someone always posts a link to something i must have. Can't say need cos i have far too much already. :rotfl:

Had an email to say my elzybells order is on it's way . I was very restrained and only ordered about 5 i think. Can't remember what now so will be a surprise when it gets here . :j

got my blog candy today that i won at crafty fox blog. Some lovely papers i'll put a pic on my blog later.

Oh dear i must lock up the elves i bought goodies from little claires the other day and it's carly's week for going to bradford so i popped in the range and those baskets are lethal a goody bag and the xmas goody bag fell in . Then 3 of the beautiful john byers nostalgia stamps a leaf punch and emboss , some LLB tassels for the teacher gifts i'm part way through . 3 packs of gems for kaitlyn and a pack of 50 square blanks for her . we go again next friday hope they have the other nostalgia stamps in then as they only had 3 different ones.

Just a quick update the doc is thrilled with carlys progress and she's around 12 months ahead of where they hoped already . Unfortunately her left implant doesn't seem quite as effective as her right so they aim to try tweaking it some more and see if that helps if not it may need another op to replace it.

Hassy - don't set your target too high, you know it only encourages failure. I think Craftgrannys suggestion is far more sensible:D

Craftygranny - that's fab news, you must be so pleased. Have you got your dispatch notice from Little Claire yet? I got mine yesterday and am hoping that it will arrive tomorrow.

I am thrilled about Carly's progress, I do hope that the tweaking will do the trick and she doesn't have to undergo any more surgery...

Marg I was very good and emptied some of my basket at the checkout on card4u.. not enough out of my basket if oh had seen the state of it.. even then, some of the stuff I had put in my basket had sold out by the time I did get to checkout... the site kept crashing cos of the traffic on it.. I am surprised there is anything left!!
I am NOT going back to make sure I really really didn't miss anything.. and I am NOT going to go on any linky things you lovely girls put on for free p&p and sales that would be cruel...
