That's just bonkers Craftgran - however all local authorities seem to be bonkers at the mo.

I had to write down all the personal phone calls that I made from my work phone in the last 3 months as they're going to ask us to pay for them - took me 10 mins to decide if I'd made any - 2 pages of A4 to print the form off and the grand total is 2P - I think they have to provide me with a receipt as well if they make me pay. Funny they don't pay for the work calls I make from my home phone when I'm here :p:p

Evenin all, anyone enjoying the footie, my husband seems to be.

Super meeting at school DS is with his two friends so is one happy boy tonight.:j:j:j We have a few of the trouble makers in his class but hopefully the Junior school will be slightly more disciplined.

I've just read two pages and now can't remember anything, foggy head full of kunk.

Think there are a couple of congratulations and certainly there is one keep everything crossed for Kaitlyn which I certainly will do.

Right now on to the topic of spendy elves, who was the last person to mention Elzybell as I think the buck has to stop with you. I resisted the first time it was mentioned, had a quick look the 2nd time, longer look the third and then went slightly mad the 4th. I'm going with the logic of I've spent £30 but saved £30 as they were half price so that has to be MSE doesn't it :rotfl:

Right off to get hot drink and bed me thinks.

Padster - Thanks for bear he's a cutie.

    Evening all,
I had craft class this morning which was very relaxed and laid back. We sat and made ATC's using a huge supply of assorted crafts bits and bobs to dip into.
I can't find on the thread where the current best deal for promarkers is. I only have 25 and so need lots of other colours...
I've been very good recently and only been buying cheap beads from ebay. Actually I've found a supplier on there that sends beads from singapore wih free postage. I ordered a set to what the quality like and they arrived today. I'm really impressed as they are gorgeous, I was worried they might look plastic. There was even a free gift included. I feel abit bad now as I know the beads and postage must have cost loads more than I paid for them!
Really out of sorts today, had to take extra tablets for my vertigo but they make me really sleepy. I fell in the house yesterday and have a smashing bruise on my side going up my ribs. Very impresive to show for for symapthy!
It was my last night at Rainbows tonight so they threw a party for me. Very sweet of them but I could hardly manage to say anything to them - I just went blank and couldn't say anything. Im sure I was scarlet all evening. We are going to the local farm park next tuesday as their last meeting before the summer holidays.
I've got to take the car up to Kwik fit in the morning to have the emissions warning light switched off - funny that costs £30 as well. Then no doubt they will find some fault that will cost even more to fix. I had just managed to save up some money too. I was hoping ot put it towards hiring a skip as we have loads of junk in the yard that we need to get rid off after doing various building jobs over the last couple of years. oh well, better start saving again I guess. (Promarkers doesn't count, obviously! :rotfl:)

melissa75 - Thankyou :) I've always really enjoyed being crafty but since the kiddies were born its always been on the back burner, but now Emily is 3 (in a hour!) I feel I have been able to get back into it :) I have really been enjoying the jewellery making, I keep thinking of new ideas I want to have a go at but just haven't got the time....saying that the housework has been left for the last couple of days....oh well! lol :D

Rusty - I looked in work again tonight for the Star Wars t-shirt & couldn't find one, we think they were just in special for Fathers Day, sorry :/ Tell your friend thanks for the order :D I will get a start on the tile tomo as its alot of watching glaze dry! lol

Addams and Marg - The balloons didn't take too long at all, I have to say I really struggled with my selection of ribbons - I got 2 Check Sunny Day, 2 Sailors Hats, Happy Fish, 2 Balloons, 2 Happy Birthday, 1 Icecream, 1 beach, 1 ladybirds and 1 Stripe Sunrise. When I opened them I thought "uh oh -I'm in trouble" as they really didn't inspire me at all.I bet your cards will be fab Marg - they normally are.

Meant to ask Addams - did you get your prize from Passion for Promarkers the other week?

I did email them, but havent heard anything. Thanks for reminding me, I will email them again.

I thought the same about my ribbons too. I got 1 cupcakes, 1 sunflowers, 1 butterflies, 1 with shells and fish on (I used this on my crab card), 1 colourful check, 1 black and white stripes, 1 wavey coloured, 1 crabs, 1 flipflops and 1 red and orange stripes. I think the problem was they were too bright for my liking.

Cant wait to see your cards Marg.

Craftygranny - sounds like you had a fun time a the town hall! There are some characters out there. Do you live in Barnsley? When I was little I lived in Ardsley near Barnsley, my Dad still lives round there.

Paddington - thanks for the freebie, very cute!

Nici - hope the bruise heals quickly and doesnt look too bad.

Good morning everyone, early for me but I wasn't around much yesterday. I was in bed for 8.30pm. Not poorly, just fatigue had crept up on me. So I was up earlier than usual today. OH is still in bed.

I've caught up with posts from yesterday. Craftygranny your tales about the people in reception were so funny, probably never a dull moment in that job! Good luck with the school situation for Kaitlyn. How ridiculous expecting anyone to be in two places at once to pick children up!

WBR - Is that the right link? Well done to you on your ribbon makes. Now that's something I definitely wouldn't be able to cope with! Well done too on winning the blog candy :T.

Addams - Great ribbon makes too, well done.

Melissa Congrats on your win :T. Have you been able to rescue your mouse? I can't get on with the touch pad on my laptop either. I mainly use my "proper" computer, don't really like the laptop, I keep it on my craft desk and only use it occasionally.

Bolton214 Sorry I got your name wrong yesterday, brain not working properly! I'll drop the number off next time so I can't get it wrong :rotfl: .

Giggle - Lovely pirate goodie bag.

That's all I can remember so sorry if I've forgotten anyone.

Time for a coffee I think, and a blog hop. I've got to order a colour cartridge for my printer as that ran out yesterday.
