Hmm that'll be a yes then.
My brother emailed last week to say his mates wife said i'll want a bind it all and do i as she knows where to get one for a good price.lol. He's already been told where to find martha stewart punches . He said when she told him he thought they were just a posh name for a hole punch. :rotfl:
My son's g/f does some crafting so she said she'll make sure they find me some nice goodies. waaah why didn't i go then i could have chosen my own.lolCross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Rusty glad the stamped images arrived - they must have lost them as I sent them first class and Gemma got hers the next day!
Gemm hopefully it goes okay today. Do you genuinely dislike the work or is it the pressure because they threaten job cuts? If the latter then what they say today may change things...

Here's my challenge card. Managed to tie it in to a card my mum asked me to make for her friend:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0

afternoon all, thanks to everyone for your words of support and encouragement, you have no idea what it means to me to have so many people wishing me well! I survived the meeting, to cut a long story short out of a department of 14 people there are 4.5 'displaced' i.e. redundant. I then requested a meeting with HR subsequently to enquire about volunteering and ifI decided to do that then what the procedure would be. they are going to email me with figures for payoff etc then its up to me to put it in writing, nothing is taken as read until I do that so by enquiring about it I am in no worse off position.
going in there today really made me realise how much I hate going there and I how much I really really dont want to go back as it was making me so unhappy. its not the work, it's mainly the people and the environment.
I have considered temping - I did enquire with an agency and apparently they do get quite a bit of temporary part time work which would be perfect at the moment.
well done on your ribbons win Marg!!
and happy birthday to Skiergirl!! so sorry your card will be late, I forgot to check my birthday list recently but I have posted it today so should be with you tomorrow! hope you have a fab today today.
rusty hope everything is well with your grandad-in -law later, the staff sound very undesirable
