Welcome back DTB - presume you got your dress sorted for the wedding? Hence need for red heeled shoes? Is your granny out of hospital now & doing OK? & work settled a bit? - I'm exhausted just reading all you've got to fit in........
I didn't find a dress I liked enough t obuy so have decided to wear one I already have and splash out on new shoes instead. There was a pair of red heeled mary-janes in the camper outlet shop when I went there on holiday about 4 years ago and I soooo wish I'd bought them - I convinced myself I didn't need them but actually dreamt about them a few times when I got home. So now I'm determined to get some - have seen some I like but they're £90. oopsy.

Granny is on the mend - thanks for asking - she's hoping to be out of hospital in a week or 2 with some assistance at home with dressing, meals etc. So *fingers crssed* we're all on for the party altho we're a bit behind schedule now as we put everything on hold for a while and have some catching up to do. Mum has been very busy with the bunting since I last popped around to help - I don't think that anything made of material is safe in her house anymore - she's been cutting up old sun dresses today but it's looking good.

I think I'm going to have to pare down my plans once we've got the party out of the way - I don't seem to have a minute spare to catch my breath most days. On top of what I mentioned earlier, and working full-time obviiously, this week I've 3 more trips to the gym planned, &son has a diving squad training meet on Thursday and he's away for boys brigade camp on Friday so I have some packing to do. Plan for tonight now is to pack everything for tomorrow, make a hot choc and veg on the sofa before having an early(ish) night.

I am supposed to be colouring but having a bit of a mare so having a breather. I have put my truth lies on my blog. I haven't passed it on to anybody as I have no idea as to who has or hasn't had it. If you haven't and would like please holler.

  • Well, a nice sunny day today. Have been making a few cards but have yet to photograph them!!!! Just been doing my niece's homework with her on India!!

We are hoping that my auntie will be allowed home from hospital tomorrow so that will be great. Thanks for all your good wishes.

Rusty - what an awful thing to happen for your MIL's father. Very traumatic especially for someone elderly. Hope he gets through it all ok.
Mad-Frog - thank you very much - you are a star!
Skiergirl - I feel for you, nothing worse than someone continually drilling and hammering. Drives me nuts!!
dawnteabag - hope you enjoy your concert.

DTB - I came over all tired just reading your post let alone trying to actually do it - buy the shoes - if you'd bought a new dress you would probably have bought new shoes and stuff to go with it and ended up spending more than £90 anyway :D See am getting v good at spending other peoples money and saving my own. :rotfl:

You should have shouted PONR could have sent you some elephant pics :D Wish I was there................
