thanks for the blog award gemm it is my first:A
when I have worked out what to do I will pass it on - I'd better be quick or there will be noone left to pass it on to!

I have just spent ages ironing two baskets of washing and was nearly at the end when I realised the table cloth smelt of cat's wee to say I was not happy is an understatement:mad: So I have had to rewash it as I wasn't sure what was in that basket and what wasn't.

it is very strange without ds1 and is so quiet. will make the most of the peace and boys not arguing!
saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

Hi guys, well had a great weekend and now have not got a clue what anyone talking about on here despite a quick glance through more pages than I can remember, lol.
Somene asked about the lip balms I was making for nursery fete. Finished the last batch today. I made honey lip balm with melted vaseline and stirred in pouring honey. I made strawberry by melting the vaseline and stirring in the strawberry flavouring/essence from baking shelf in asda, did a lemon and a vanilla the same way. Also did white chocolate and milk chocolate by stirring in drinking chocolate. Worth giving it an extra blast in microwave after adding the chocolate powder to stop it feeloing gritty when you use it.
Got to decorate the jars with fabric tonight and ribbons with tags on to name the flavours.
Good excuse to get my big shot out and cut out lots of little tags etc.

Talking of gift boxes - can you point me in the direction of a tutorial for it please? I want to make my friend and her hubby a couple of long service medals for their silver anniversary :D

Completely off topic here but does anyone know anywhere that sells 12 x 12 cushion pads or are the Wilko 97p ones able to squish down a bit? (yep bonkers I know)
