Rainmac I have to say, all your cards are soo beautiful, I love the papers you have chosen for them all xx
Just got back from the hospital, my Dads little op went well and the surgeon was pleased too. He has 5 stitches just above the temple, it looks a bit gruesome at the moment as it hasn't a dressing on it just some of that spray skin stuff, Mum will put him a dressing on for bed so that the stitches aren't disturbed. Plus Mum has her new glassesand its given her her confidence back thank goodness! I have left them having a nice cuppa and Dad opening his birthday cards and presents.
DH isn't much better todayseems all the pain killers and antibiotics have upset his tummy
he is in bed at the moment as he didn't have much sleep with it last night. I hope by tomorrow we see some sign of improvement.
This weekend it is the Southwell (Notts) Folk Festival and I am hoping the weather is nice on Saturday so we can go and watch the Dancing and Street entertainment for freevery MSE!
Gemm if you are reading the posts I hope you ae feeling much better, we are missing you. Lots of Hugs (((xx)))
Rusty I will go and do your favour now0 -
The-Wife thanks for the info, have ordered some storage, thought I might as well finish off my promarker collection while I was at it
PONR Good news about your aunt, I will post your parcel tomorrow when I have sorted how many stamps I need for postage.
Skiergirl Hope your toe is better for Switzerland, have been there and it is a stunning place
Rainmac Love that baby blanket image, will have to get one I think as I know 3 people having babies this year.
Am off to try and attempt to tidy my craftroom0 -
CG Sorry meant to say I hope you are okay today. I had a bump a couple of years ago, dented the passenger side door, no one hurt but it did dent my confidence in driving for a while. As others have said at least no one was hurt.0

Hello everyone :hello:
It's been about a month since I last posted - so it's about time I dragged myself back into the land of the living.
A quick update on our situation:
Dh still has job - phewwwww
Ds has been awarded middle rate care dla and low rate mobility for the next three years & I have been awarded corresponding carer's allowance - what a relief :T
I finally gave in and went to docs - I am now on a real hefty dose of antidepressants and am starting to feel like the black cloud is beginning to lift.
Have done no crafting to speak of (hopefully will start to feel like doing some soon) but.... dd has found my craft stash, so it is being put to good use, just hope she leaves some for me :rotfl:
It's TT week here on the island so we are surrounded by motor-bikes, thousands and thousands of them - gives the place a real buzz.
I hope everyone is keeping well - sending huge (((hugs))) to anyone who needs a hug. Heck you can all have one because this thread is just brill!!!
Take care everyone, love Thrifty xxx0 -
Hi all, just keeping up to date - CGC - hope you are ok after your little bump ((hugs))
flourgirl - glad your dad is on the mend - hope your oh is feeling better soon.
Does anyone know is creative craft world still the cheapest a the mo for pro markers?? I know PONR hasnt had a good experience though - is p&p free??
I have been looking for the spiderweb embossing folder for the cuttlebug but can use it on the big shot - and out of stock on all the cheapy p&p places - will keep looking (dont know when would use it but it looks nice - lol!!)
thrifty - hellooooo!!0 -
