Mel Spill the beans, why was the Martha Stewart QVC prog a farce this a.m? I unfortunately missed it cos I was waitng in at my ds2's new flat for furniture that didn't arrive... :mad: I watched the prog at tea time, but that seemed to go ok.
On another blog I follow, they were complaining about the way Suze Weinberg was treated on her progs yesterday.. I missed those too, but one of my friends has it recorded, so I will be able to watch that

i have sat and read everything but my head is all over tonight, i had a little bump on my way home with another car, it was my fault, no one was harmed and my car is fine, theirs has a little bump. it's not a lot but it really shakes you. so sorry for not commenting i just feel :embarasse. anyway going to go now,sorry for not commenting on here, i'm going to pop to blog land and try again there x

Just popped on and haven't got anywhere as the first post I've seen is yours cgcockcroft sending hugs your way hun. The important thing is no one was injured - metal can be repaired or replaced - that's why we have insurance! Take it easy and hope you feel better. x

Evening!!!

I've been out all day. Caught the bus into town with my parents and went to the hospital to visit my auntie. It's nightmare to park as the hospital is close to the city centre so easier to catch the bus. My aunt was in abit of pain and still groggy from her op but that is to be expected. The good new is that they think they have managed to remove the cancer along with several other bits and bobs. She will need 2 or 3 more lots of strong chemo and then hopefully it might be zapped. She is a very brave lady and has been so strong throughout it all. I made her a get well card to take with my today which I have put on my blog.
I've also blogged a Sock Kitty I made!!!!

TomsMom - hope you get your new computer soon!! We don't want you without a computer!!!
ScattyJan - good luck with your Big Shot. It's not fair everyone is getting one except me!!! One day I will have a craft room and then I can have whatever I want!!!!

My promarkers have still not come so that is a week after ordering them. I phoned and emailed Louise and she says they were sent out last Friday. She is sending the order again tomorrow and claiming off of Royal Mail. Really disappointed as waiting on them to complete a few cards that I've started.

Rusty I had a look at the paper I used on your card and it was from a DCWV pack that was given as a gift from the lovely Steph whose card crop we went to before Christmas. I used another piece from that set on a card, I think it had bird cages on and someone recognised it as (I think) as Nana's Kids. If anyone has seen any of these papers, there's a picture on my blog, please can you let us know.

Just wanted to let you all know that I've had a much brighter day today and felt quite chuffed with myself for managing to clear my lounge up tidier than its been in years, lol. I could actually invite someone in for coffee and not have to apologise for the mess - as long as they didn't look into any other rooms :rotfl:
Can't remember who asked now but I'm fairly sure I saw some Hello Kitty papers in Pondskipper, but don't hold me to that, I could be mixed up with something else my daughter likes.
I have so many things I want to do and not enough hour in the day. I really want to try and get involved with sites and maybe go for a DT place somewhere but I haven't even set up myown blog yet. Best walk before I run I guess, or in my case think about crawling!
I need to get the stuff finished for my sons nursery fete first. So I'm off to go and glass paint the nursery logo onto some tea light candle holders tonight.
Given its half 9 already I shall probably just flake out after that, lol. Must try and control the spendy elves though, when I start "browsing" then things tend to drop into baskets accidentally...:o
Right off to go paint some caterpillars!
