Thrifty - I think it takes a huge effort to feel 'up' when you have been 'down' for any length of time so well done you, a good laugh helped by vino can work wonders - hope it lasts (or you'll have to do it all over again!)

Rainmac & flourgirl - sadly, no scones here but I do have an Alice cake cooling! :)

It's been chilly here but I managed to plant out some slug food (aka lettuce plants) and a few seeds then retreated to the ironing board to get warm again.

Evenin' all! Just checking in with a quick hello. I've had a busy couple of days. Yesterday we had visitors, very special friends who live over 100 miles away came to see us, first time since OH has been ill/had treatment, so it was so lovely to see them. Today we've had a lovely day, got some bedding plants out, did two weeks' ironing, some washing, made a couple of cards (blogged and entered into some challenges) and have caught up on blogs.

Reading through quickly (so many posts again, I'll never remember them all!).

First of all, Choccy - thanks for news of Rusty. Please give her my best wishes, hospital is the best place for her and I hope they get something sorted out and ease her pain.

Sweetbabycakes Well done on raising all that money, it must be wonderful to sell out and make more than you every imagined.

Thrifty Glad you survived the sleepover and that your DS can now come out of hiding :rotfl: . Good that you're feeling a bit better.

Flourgirl Thanks for the link to the font. I'm a bit of a font freak and have downloaded it.

Glittermum Glad you enjoyed the camping and that the weather wasn't too awful!

That's about all I can remember. If I've missed anyone out - sorry. For those that need it heres a HUG.

I am near enough certain that someone has already posted on here about Little Musings, but I have read that her drawings are going to be made into stamps by Personal Impressions, so it will be possible to purchase them in the shops or on line.. She is doing a Friday freebie download and the one this week is Elanor, with... Padster take note, a Teddy in her hand.. :)

Choccy thanks for letting us know about Rusty - send her hugs from me! Hopefully this will mean that she'll finally get the help she needs...

OH took me to London Zoo on Saturday - it was a great day and I was like a big kid! We were really lucky though as it stayed clear all day then when we were on the way back to the car the heavens opened and it hasn't really stopped raining since.

Used it to my advantage though and have been doing lots of crafting. Paddingtondoo my card for your challenge is now on my blog:

Nuttienettie - it was paddingtondoo who set the current challenge and I'm sure you can enter without a blog, that's how we used to do it before we got blogs (I've only been using mine since Christmas).

Lei - lovely card on your blog - glad you had a good day out @ the zoo. Our local one is supposed to be very good, we hope to go when the weather improves.

Forgot to say earlier sweetbabycakes well done:T on your fundraising total.

Sorry you are still feeling poorly PONR well done on your sale - don't delay getting a new inhaler - I bet all doctors surgeries will be busy tomorrow - hope no one needs their services.

I've just blogged some of my April makes - note to self "keep up!"

Flourgirl - we love Alice cake, it's still not cool enough to cut so I'd best just go to bed!
