SBC Many congrats on your sales and the amount you made.. that is really good news.. :j

I was quite busy in the garden today, went and bought some veg plants.. that's the easy part.. its the planting that is the hard part.. and made a hanging basket up for oh's uncle.. I had promised him one for winter cos he brought a box full of moss for lining the basket, but I didn't get around to make them up, despite buying the flowers etc, saying that the winter was that harsh, it killed off a lot of the plants anyway..
So I have been quite productive in my little way, and I emptied two more boxes in the conservatory.. :)
Self imposed crafty stash ban: started again 22/8/10 1 whole month stash free!
I must not buy stash, I must not buy stash, I must not buy stash! :o

Oh my god poor Rusty :(:(:( that's one way she'll get to see the consultant I guess? Can't imagine what she's going through xxx

Thrifty, I think it can be very easy to get down and stay there for a while without really noticing. Thinking of you and wel done to all of you for surviving the sleepover :)

Louby, I've got some big paperclips and could send you a few, how many were you wanting?

Choccy, get that machine out of it's box, have you opened the box at all, it could have a couple of bricks in it and no robo at all x

The weather here has been carp all day and blinking freezing. I made scones and we had them with lashings of strawberry jam and cream, blooming gorgeous :D
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain

CHoccy - Thanks for passing on news about Rusty, please pass on our concerns for her and lots of hugs and positive thoughts. Its horrid having to do the whole ambulance trip to hopsital (I've done it twice with my little boy) but thank goodness it means she will at last get the help and attention she needs.

Congratulation Sweet Baby Cakes on a fabulous fundraising sale.

Right well I'm just back from a sleepover with my 2 kids at my parents house. We only stayed for one night but there seems to be an awful lot of washing - go figure...

Tomorrow I have a craft class, so I've made up a glittered medallion stamp card. I've always admired them but never got around to doing it before. It should please those who like stamping, heat embossing, decoupage and glitter! Of course there will always be a few in the class who don't like any of those! They turn up everyweek so it can't be all that bad though.

I'll check back on here tomorrow, I'm off to have a look at some of those sale links that were mentioned over the past few pages...not that I NEED anything of course...but since when did that matter!

    Hugs to all
    Nici x
