Hellooo
I'm feeling quite poorly today. I have a stinking cold and cough made even worse by my asthma.
Rusty - hope you are feeling ok today. Well done with the weight loss.
Rainmac - beautiful card for the 3 B's challenge and also the one you made for the Magical DT.
OAP1945 - hope you are still feeling better today. Good luck with the colonoscopy.
thriftyscotalass - good luck with the party tonight!!!!
I have been making a card for most of the day lol - I have not been on it solidly though so taking ages!!!!The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -
I want the spendy elves to point me in the direction of a MS butterfly punch but I want them to bargain hunt as it's my cash after all.
Where is the cheapest place please?0 -
Hi all!
rainmac - I love your bird card. It's gorgeous!
pointofnoreturn - aw, there is nothing worse than a cold with asthma, except a chest infection with asthma! I hope you feel better soon.
I've just popped by to ask if anyone has any ideas for me. I have a friend at work (so not really close, but we get on well) who is having a crap time at the moment. I've made her a card with no text on the front as I wasn't sure what to to put, and I wanted to put a little funny 'life sucks' poem kind of thing inside. My brain isn't working at the moment to come up with one, although it might if someone gives me an idea!
Has anyone any suggestions, or anything you've used before please?"There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0 -
Ooh, how about this? A lot of her problems are financial.
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit-
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
I think it sounds better changing care to life, what do you think?"There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0 -

I think that sounds great and yes I would change care to life as well! The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -
I might consider changing pressing to getting too, just a thought but I am no poet & I know it!0

Thank you pointofnoreturn and hogshead! I've changed both words.
Just searching for a nice font to use now."There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0 -
For anyone who as the Tim Holtz Distress Inks be careful that the lids are not loose on them. I've got a few where the lids don't stay on and I have put an elastic band around them. The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0

I wondered if any of you ladies could point me in the right direction, I want to buy some decent card for printing images, some flowers and some kind of tool to make big circles or scalloped circles if there is such a thing. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you x
Thank you
Craftwork Cards sells nice white card for printing or stamping images, it's not cheap but is fab quality.
You could buy a punch to cut precise circles. Woodware make a selection of punches in different sizes, some here.
Flowers is more difficult as there's so much choice, what sort of flowers are you after? If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
