Just blogged my "raid" on the craft shop yesterday, its just as well I went first thing as by lunchtime I was in bed and mid evening at the out of hours Doc attached to our local A&E.
I am having some lower abdo pain and undergoing investigations at the mo, so why whilst having a camera exam up my "girly bits" on Thursday did they not warn me " its quite common" I would get an infection and Oh boy did I have an infection, anyway I am much better today after pills and potions applied and swallowed. :j I do hope that I don't get a another when I have the colonoscopy next wednesday.

I am away to catch up on blogs and posts whilts OH shouts at the ref on TV:rotfl:

Oh no, poor you, hope you are ok xxx I had problems with abnormal smear test results for years and one time had to go to hospital for some treatment and the door of the room opened behind me whilst I was being 'dealt with' and about 20 student doctors walked in wanting to observe. Made a very personal area very, very public  Isn't it great being a woman ;)

I went to see my mum today and took the card I made along with a big bunch of flowers. Oh she looks a poorly lady, it's her birthday soon so we all have our fingers crossed she'll be better for then.

Mumoffour, no problem, hope you can make use of what I sent xxx

Rainmac that's a really pretty card.

I wondered if any of you ladies could point me in the right direction, I want to buy some decent card for printing images, some flowers and some kind of tool to make big circles or scalloped circles if there is such a thing. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you x

OAP - that sounds grim, so sorry to hear, you'd think they would have warned you beforehand! Hope you are feeling better now. I haven't taken up the offer of a smear that's been on the hall table since January even less inclined to go now but know I have to. Lovely stash to play with when you feel better.

Rainmac - sorry to hear your Mum is poorly - Not to diminish anyone elses pain but I always think head/ear/mouth/teeth pains are worse 'cos they are closer to you (IYSWIM) Your card is gorgeous.

Rusty - Hope the morphine is hitting the spot and you are getting some much needed rest.

Flourgirl - pleased to hear your Mum is on the mend.

Thank you very much once again everyone for your lovely birthday wishes, cards and gifts. I will do some pics for my blog and proper thank you's later. We had a little outing to Southport, it was a bit chilly but fine. DH got a shirt and I found a nice per una top then we came back home for tea & feet up in front of TV.

Hope everyone is having a good Sunday and looking forward to an extra day off tomorrow. Just a few personals:

Rainmac - what a beautiful card, it is great seeing your work as part of a DT :T

OAP - ouch . Hope the anti-bs sort out the infection soon.

Rusty - glad you are getting some pain relief, even if it is making you sleep loads.

    Choccy - enjoy your takeaway

Marg - glad you had a good birthday

Think of me tonight - it is dd's 15th birthday and 10 of them are out at a local pizza restaurant all dressed up to the nines :rotfl:. We are then having 6 back for a sleep-over - we only live in a 70s mews house - think 2 up, 2 down with an attic conversion . I have my [STRIKE]wine[/STRIKE] medicine all lined up and ready to go. Poor old ds, he will be barricaded in his bedroom until lunchtime tomorrow :rotfl:.

I'll catch up tomorrow, all bleary eyed...

    Evening ladies :D
Hope you have all had a lovely day, I haven't been able to get warm today, it feels colder :(
I've been slowly sorting out boxes in the conservatory.. it tends to be a dumping ground during the winter, and all the xmas decs have been in there since being taken down, so de clutter time has arrived.. I hate de cluttering.. I feel lots better after it has been done, but its just the trawling thru...grrr.
Marg Glad you had a good birthday. Two of my friends were in Southport yesterday.. It is a lovely place..
Mum of 4 Glad the stuff arrived, you are welcome, hope it was ok..
