    Morning Ladies

ali.b 123 Have a fab day in York. Are you going to Mc Arthur Glen to the Paper mill shop? You can use the Park & Ride there it might be a lot cheaper than parking in York. Thats what we do.

Hope everyone has a fab weekend, sun is shining here so hope it is where you are too x

Sweetbabycakes, 70p for a handmade card is hardly anything!!! I would price any 'basic' ones at £1-£1.50 and more for cards with more on them/cards that took more time to make. Don't undersell yourself xxx

Off to have a look at blogs while deciding what we're going to do today.

Hello again everyone - finally back in blighty!

No chance of me catching up on the pages I've missed whilst I was away but I did notice that npsmama and NEgirl both had new additions whilst I was away so huge congratulations to them both!

Arrived home yesterday but it's taken until today for me to feel vaguely human again. We gve up on planes in the end and came home overland by train to Amsterdam where we spent a night and had a little pootle around. Then the bus to Rotterdam and an overnight ferry to Hull. To give you an idea of how tired I am - my cricut is still sat in its box, unopened in the kitchen!

Did do a little bit of crafting whilst away in the shape of 'colouring in' with the promarkers on plane, boat. train etc I find it so relaxing to just zone out. The air hostess on the way out was a bit patronising about it - as she walked past she said 'oo well done - you're keeping within the lines!' but I think she was impressed that it managed to keep me and "&son" quietly occupied for the entire journey.

Found come beautiful shops in Amsterdam particularly a huge paper shop but it was really too much to ask "&son" to spend too much time in them so I've collected a business card from each for when I go back. Will blog details sometime this weekend.

Morning All it's a bit overcast here, not sure what our plans are yet but there's a scarecrow festival at Wray so may go there. (hope they don't think I'm an exhibit!!)

Yeah, I did have limited access to the internet via my ipod touch until Tuesday. I woke up this morning and my first thought was "where am I?" I was sooo happy to realise I was finally in my own bed!

Was only wondering this morning if you'd got back ok DTB nothing better than waking up in your own bed. Wonder if impaling someone on a promarker counts as air rage :rotfl:

I've lost track as there are so many posts to catch up on (was out a lot yesterday) then had my computer man in last night to install new version of Kaspersky and give the computer a bit of an M.O.T. but .........

Welcome back DTB, what a dreadful journey you've both had. I expect you're so relieved to be back at last. Hope your boss doesn't make you take holiday.

Sweetbabycakes - I haven't seen your post but from what Rainmac says are you thinking of asking 70p for your cards? I have to agree that £1 minimum is the lowest you should go, and that just for the very basic, once you start using lovely background papers and embellishments then you must ask more.

I haven't anything crafty to blog about, just did a little bit of gardening yesterday, planted some veggie seeds etc., then spent the rest of the day with some friends who've come down to their caravan for a few days. Need to catch up with the housework today but hoping to have a bit of a play later. Tomorrow we're off to Wrexham shopping, need to do a major stock up food-wise and go to Dunelm and anywhere else I can persuade OH to moochy round :rotfl: . Sunday's a bit quieter so better for us at the moment and as it's 4pm closing it means we HAVE to get back at a reasonable time as it's 1.5 hours drive away.

He's at the hairdressers at the moment, having his first proper haircut since he lost it all in October :j. D-i-l trimmed the back with clippers a few weeks ago but now it's getting longer it's coming through curly  (it was dead straight before).

Have a lovely day everyone, I hope you've all still got the lovely sunshine we're still having.

PS - He's just walked in, ooh he looks very smart :T.
